About Us

John and Sue Bolles each come from a long line of big families, a diverse group of friends, and many years of enjoying time with both whether it be every day get-togethers or big celebrations. Their love for good food and making memories has lead them into this exciting new chapter in their life together…Bolzy’s Catering & Event Planning!

Our Story

Both born and raised in Upstate NY, and after opportunities as early adults to live in Pennsylvania, Virginia and even Alaska, thankfully John and Sue Bolles came back to New York over 30 years ago…and they would meet many years later.

John and Sue met at work in 2001 which began a very special friendship and grew into a wonderful marriage in 2015. With their combined experience in catering and event planning, together they planned their very own special wedding and every beautiful detail.

With John having worked in the food service industry for over 45 years, and Sue’s experience as a Certified Event Planner, together they have planned and facilitated many successful events…

Our Babies!

We love our fur babies! As you can see, we are currently owned by four cats and one dog. They love to frolick, nap together, cuddle, eat frozen treats, and help fold the laundry!

We couldn’t help ourselves when we had the chance to rescue these little loves and they bring so much joy to our home!

When we’re not working, you can catch us at the movies, a local theatre performance, reading a good book, tending to our gardens or just making fun memories with our family and friends!
